A little bit about me
I am a qualified nutritional therapist with a special interest in gut health.
I became interested in nutrition after spending over 15 years suffering from irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) which was extremely frustrating and miserable. Every meal was a dietary minefield, often leaving me feeling bloated and constipated. As the years went by I started experiencing other symptoms including acne and heartburn. I also developed the skin condition, rosacea.
I couldn’t understand why my health was deteriorating and what might be driving it until I was introduced to a nutritional therapist.
It was such a relief to be able to talk to someone who understood my concerns. She helped me identify why I might be experiencing these symptoms and the positive effect diet and lifestyle changes could have on my digestion and skin health.
Experiencing these changes first-hand inspired me to train as a nutritional therapist to help other people Eat Well. Feel Well. Be Well!

What is a nutritional therapist and how can they help?
A nutritional therapist is someone who has studied nutrition science and uses the knowledge and skills they develop to help support the health and wellbeing of others.
By assessing your health history, symptoms, diet and lifestyle I can help identify what may be driving your symptoms or conditions and work with you to find a nutrition and lifestyle plan to help support you and your health needs.
I am a qualified nutrigenomics practitioner
Nutrigenomics – The study of the relationship between genes, nutrients, lifestyle and the environment in which we live.
Nutrigenomic reports – Provide information on key genes and how they can be supported through dietary and lifestyle changes.
The reports are a useful tool to help provide bespoke nutritional and lifestyle recommendations unique to you and your genetic make up.
Reports cover a number of areas including nutrients, hormones, methylation, nervous system, detoxification, histamine intolerance, thyroid, metabolism and oestrogen.
About the consultation process
Before the first consultation
A nutritional therapy questionnaire and a 3 day meal plan will be sent to you to fill out and return to me so I can prepare for the first appointment.
First consultation
I’ll run through your answers to the questionnaire with you, talk about what might be driving your symptoms and discuss next steps.
We’ll then create a personalized nutrition and lifestyle plan together.
The plan will include food, beverage and recipe ideas. It may also contain test recommendations and supplements to support you on your journey back to wellness.
Follow up consultation
A follow up will involve a discussion on how you are getting on with your plan, if there have been any changes to your health since the last appointment and an interpretation of any test results that may have been received.
An updated plan will then be provided to you based on our discussion.
